QN to expand national footprint

In a move intended to widen our coverage in the U.S. and increase the emphasis on our local web portals we will be going live with both Queer Dallas and Queer Miami next week.  We will be officially launching Queer Dallas on Tuesday, July 6 and Queer Miami on Thursday, July 8.  This expanded operation will be headed up by Vice President David Bishop and will lay the ground work for more specific and targeted growth and development in the surrounding areas in 2011.

Operationally, Queer Networks will be divided into three distinct networks of news and information blogs:  Central California, U.S. National, and Columns.  Currently our Central California network is made up of local blogs in Stockton, Modesto, Merced, Fresno, Visalia, and Bakersfield.  Our new U.S. National network of sites will be set up in Oakland, Long Beach, Dallas, Miami, and Philadelphia; while our Columnist network will be comprised of Ryan Bacon, Can’t Win For Losing, Jimmie Joe Reeves, Love Welcomes All, and Mikes Daily.

This move will make QN 16 sites strong.
